Dear Friend,

Welcome to St. Andrew’s website! We are hopeful that our ministries and programs offer the potential for a meaningful Christian experience for you. We are a community of faith that opens our arms in welcome to singles, couples, married with children, divorcees, empty-nesters, retirees, and youth. Whether you are a seeker, a life-long Presbyterian, a member of another denomination, or someone brand new to “church,” we want to journey with you.

Our vision at St. Andrew is to exhibit the Kingdom of Heaven to the world by

“Living in God’s love, Growing in Faith, and Sharing the Good News”.

To that end, our ministry teams offer opportunities for:
Worship | Christian education | Mission | Member Care and Fellowship | Communication and Outreach

Where are we?

We are on the corner of Danville and Vestavia in Decatur, Alabama. You can enter the parking lot from Danville Road on the west or Vestavia Drive from the south.

Visitor parking is conveniently available directly in front of the covered walkway. The south entrance just past the fountain is the most convenient entry to the sanctuary from the visitors’ parking.

The nursery is located just inside the entrance from the covered walkway.

What to Expect?

Sundays

We offer Sunday school classes for all ages from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. Opportunities for fellowship are available from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. The choir also has a short practice time during this break.

From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., we offer a joyful, traditional worship service which includes Scripture readings, piano, organ music and choir, Christ-centered, relevant preaching, and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sundays of the month.  Everyone is welcome to the Lord’s Table.  Our worship glorifies God through Christ Jesus and nurtures us to go forth and serve. Please follow the link below to hear recordings of previous sermons.

As you enter the sanctuary, you will be given a weekly bulletin. Please let an usher know if you have special needs such as a wheelchair or hearing aid. The bulletin has the order of service. In each pew will be a friendship pad. Please complete the attendance form inside so we know you visited. Cards for requesting prayers are also available in the pews. They are collected by the ushers during the singing of the first hymn. Please follow the worship link for more details on special worship services.
